Tracing family roots helps you to connect more deeply your family—where they came from, who they were, what they did, the trials they overcame, the accomplishments they achieved, and the dreams they had. The beauty of a genealogy service is that it includes time for targeted research with the goal of locating and analyzing records to help answer your family research questions. Our goal is to help you fill in as many gaps as possible, with as much insight as possible!

Where to Find Records in Genealogical Research

With billions of resources available online, so much genealogical research can now be completed remotely via phone, internet, or through the mail! The scope of my research is typically done within these parameters.

When I complete a project, I may recommend additional research, online or in-person. If there is still more to be discovered online, then I’ll outline the recommendations for additional remote research, and if I have exhausted all available remote resources, then I will provide guidance on where to go next in your search for answers.

Custom Research Consultations

Whether you’re just getting started with your family tree or have a specific research problem you’re trying to overcome, a custom research consultation is a great place to start. 


We will talk about your research question at hand, gather pre-existing documents that you have access to, and determine an appropriate amount of time to allot toward the investigation. I may or may not be able to finish the job you have in mind within that time frame, but hours of dedicated research goes a long way toward accomplishing any genealogical goal.

I am here to help make this process as simple and rewarding as possible for you.

My fascination with genealogy began around 15 years ago when my father gave me a collection of my family's historical records, which sparked a deep interest in me as I traced and clarified my family's lineage. Since then I have worked on and am in the progress of becoming accredited by the Board of Certified Genealogists. Now I use both my expertise and fascination to provide curious people like you with the insight you’re looking for about your own family's background, origin, and connections.

Working independently allows me to offer you a personalized and focused approach to help you uncover your family’s past. The process is made to be as simple, but effective as possible for you:

  1. Introduction - let’s talk about your research question! I’ll walk you through the process and help you narrow down what insights you want to uncover.
  2. Signing - let’s make it official! I provide services at $60/hour. When you sign your contract, we will set a cap on the number of hours you want to invest in.
  3. Background - let’s get started! Send over all of the information and records you have available. I’ll organize this to use as a starting point for my research.
  4. Research & Report - I will dig into the databases, libraries, public records, and connections I have to provide you with an accurate and well-documented look into your family history
